Possible bullpen reclamation project

Today Oakland released Jim Johnson, obviously he still has a lot of flaws and potentially could end up terrible. Yet on the other hand he could potentially be another Ray Searage success story. He probably would only cost salary relief, and like the article suggests at this point the A's may just be ok with any relief available. His numbers have been suspect the last two years but why not? He would not cost much value, if anything in prospects. Worst case scenario we have another project that Ray could not fix. Thoughts?
