-- Indianapolis lost to Louisville, 7-2, in 11 innings. Nick Kingham had a good start, allowing two runs in eight innings on four hits and two walks. He struck out four and threw 67 of 97 pitches for strikes. Andy Oliver gave up five runs in the top of the 11th, four of them unearned. The Indians had a chance to end it when they loaded the bases in the bottom of the 10th with nobody out but failed to score. Louisville infielder Hernan Iribarren took the mound to hold Indy scoreless in the 11th. Andrew Lambo provided all the offense with his sixth and seventh HRs. But, hey, who needs a bench player who can actually hit when you have Brent Morel?
-- Bristol beat Johnson City, 6-3. Omar Basulto threw five shutout innings, allowing only one hit. He didn't walk or strike out anybody. Daniel Arribas went 2-3 with his fourth HR. Jerrick Suiter, Carlos Ozuna and Tomas Morales each went 2-4. Ozuna had one double and Morales two.
-- The GCL Pirates scored a run in the 9th to tie their game with the Yankees2, but still lost in ten, 4-3. Mitch Keller had another strong start, albeit with some control issues. He allowed one run and one hit in four and a third innings, and walked three. He fanned six. Carlos Munoz was 3-5 with his fourth HR. Cole Tucker went 2-5 and Yoel Gonzalez 2-3.
-- The DSL Pirates lost to the Yankees2, 12-6. Felix Vinicio was 2-3, Edinson Lantigua 1-4 and Adrian Valerio 0-4. The Pirates walked ten batters and committed four errors.
