-- Adrian Sampson recovered from a rough AAA debut as Indianapolis beat Louisville, 7-3. Sampson threw six shutout innings before giving up two in his final inning, the 7th. He allowed six hits, walked one, struck out three, and threw 57 of 88 pitches for strikes. Robert Andino (pictured) was 4-4 with a double. Chris McGuiness was 2-3 with a double and two walks, Chase d'Arnaud 2-5 with a triple, Jose Tabata 2-5 with a double, and Tommy Field 2-4. Barmes went 1-4 with a HR before exiting in a double switch after the 7th.
-- Altoona lost to Akron, 6-5. Keon Broxton was 2-3 with a triple and his 14th HR. Stetson Allie hit his 18th HR and Alen Hanson went 1-5. Angel Sanchez allowed five runs, four earned, in six innings. He gave up eight hits, walked none and struck out five.
-- Bradenton lost to Fort Myers, 7-1. Jason Creasy's rough second half continued, as he allowed five runs on six hits in six innings. He walked two and struck out four. The Marauders failed to take advantage of ten hits. Adam Frazier, Jordan Steranka and Justin Howard each had two hits.
-- West Virginia beat Lakewood, 5-1. Dickson continued his good second half, allowing one run on five hits in six innings. He walked two and struck out three. Edwin Espinal, Reese McGuire and Erich Weiss were all 2-4 with a triple. Austin Meadows was 1-4 with a double.

-- The GCL Pirates failed to hold a one-run lead in the 9th, then lost to the Tigers in the 10th, 3-2. Gage Hinsz made his second pro start and allowed one run in two and a third innings. He gave up two hits and a walk, and struck out one. Carlos Munoz was 2-4 with a double, Julio De La Cruz 2-4, and Nelson Jorge 2-3. Cole Tucker was 1-5.
