Brent Morel was 3-4 and Andrew Lambo 2-4 with his 11th HR, his sixth in his last seven games.
-- Altoona jumped out to an 8-1 lead over Richmond, then held on for an 8-7 win. Joely Rodriguez gave up five runs in six innings. He allowed seven hits and a walk, and struck out four. Ramon Cabrera (pictured) was 2-4 with a double, his sixth HR and three RBIs. Dan Gamache was 2-4 with his fifth HR and Drew Maggi was 2-5 with a double.
-- Bradenton hammered Fort Myers, 8-1, to pull into a first-place tie with Palm Beach. Tyler Sample got the win with a spectacular relief outing. He threw four perfect innings, striking out nine, including the first six batters he faced. Eric Wood was 2-4 with a double and a triple. Jin-De Jhang, Jose Osuna and Jordan Steranka each went 2-4.
-- West Virginia lost to Lexington, 4-3. Dovydas Neverauskas gave up three runs, two earned, in five innings. He allowed four hits and five walks, and struck out two. Austin Meadows was 1-4 and Reese McGuire 0-4.
-- Jamestown lost to Mahoning Valley, 8-7, when a pair of errors set up a walkoff hit in the bottom of the 9th. Starter Alex McRae gave up six runs on five hits and four walks in four innings. He struck out three. Erik Forgione was 3-4 with a double, and David Andriese and Tyler Filliben each 2-4 with a double. Michael Suchy was 2-5 with a triple.
-- Bristol bombed Danville, 11-1. Trae Arbet was 2-5 with a double and his first pro HR. Enyel Vallejo was 2-4 with a triple, and Nathan Tomaszewski and Jose Salazar were each 2-4. Billy Roth gave up one run on three hits and two walks in four innings. He struck out three.
