Indianapolis was rained out for the second straight day.
— Altoona (11-8) edged Erie, 3-2, in ten innings. Chase Simpson provided the winning run in the top of the tenth with his second HR. Starter Tanner Anderson allowed a run on six hits and a walk over six innings, striking out four. Montana DuRapau got the win with two scoreless innings in relief. Jordan Luplow was 3-5. The Curve broke loose for a 2-for-13 showing with runners in scoring position.

— Bradenton (11-9) destroyed Fort Myers, 16-2. Will Craig (pictured) drove in five runs while going 2-4 with a double. Logan Hill hit his third HR in two days, his fifth on the season, and drove in three. Hill is batting 296/345/580, albeit with a 28% K rate. Ke’Bryan Hayes went 3-5 and is 9-for-18 in his last four games. Taylor Hearn threw six innings, allowing a run on six hits. He walked none and fanned six.

— West Virginia (9-12) beat Charleston, 3-2. Cam Vieaux needed only 66 pitches, 47 of them strikes, to get through six innings. He gave up a run on three hits, walked nobody and struck out four. Hunter Owen hit a two-out, RBI double in the bottom of the eighth to break a 2-2 tie.
