Not that it's a big deal, but I enjoyed this short video of Jared Hughes talking to the press after the game. This time of year, it's easy for boredom to set in, and the team hasn't exactly played inspired baseball recently, so it's nice to see someone who's so obviously excited to be a Pirate. He isn't saying anything too groundbreaking here, but it's clear that he's very, very present.

This You Tube video called Ultimate batting practice where the batter uses pitchbacks to go around the horn is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen. Thought it might provide some entertainment as we approach the off day.

As noted in the comments by ElDuce, the Pirates have signed 18-year-old Dutch catcher Danny Arribas of PSV Eindhoven, following an in-person workout in the Dominican Republic. In addition to the video above, there's some film of Arribas catching, throwing, and hitting here.
