White Sox, Scott Linebrink Agree to Terms
Four years and $19 million, apparently, which seems like crazy money for a guy whose career seems to be going downhill. Linebrink was an excellent sidekick to Trevor Hoffman from 2004 to 2006, but his strikeout rate vanished last year, and he's benefited quite a lot from PETCO Park. He's not an extreme flyball pitcher, but he does allow a lot of flyballs, and that won't play nearly as well in the White Sox's park. Also, he's 31. He seems pretty likely to really get pelted, starting next year.
