Baseball Prospectus has positive and negative comments on Jim Tracy's handling of his young pitchers in Los Angeles. (He didn't run up high pitch counts, but many of them got injured anyway - this sounds like Lloyd McClendon and a lot of other managers. But at least there wasn't any Dusty Baker-style abuse.)
BP also adds that the Bucs don't need any of the free agents they're letting go. Duh, right?
