Jerome Williams (4-7, 5.20) vs. Kip Wells (7-14, 4.66). Williams, who was traded from the Giants earlier this year for LaTroy Hawkins, has struggled this year, including in his last start, in which he lasted less than two innings against the Dodgers. At 23, though, he has plenty of time to put it together, if elbow problems or poor conditioning don't stop him first. He doesn't throw hard, but he can throw several pitches for strikes, including a good slider and a fastball that comes in at around 90 MPH.
