Warren Morris is retiring after spending nine years in pro baseball, including four in the Pirates organization. He also played for the Twins and Tigers, and in the minor leagues for the Rangers, Red Sox, Cardinals, Indians and Brewers organizations. His career .334/.375/.709 line is actually surprisingly decent for a middle infielder, but that total is heavily weighted by his fine .360/.427/.787 rookie season for the 1999 Pirates. Unfortunately, he had peaked by then, and was a run of the mill AAA infielder for most of the rest of his career.
