Zach Duke (1-1, 4.50) vs. Wandy Rodriguez (2-0, 2.84). Rodriguez has actually had a pretty nice season so far, with good starts against the Nats and Diamondbacks. Until I see significantly more evidence to the contrary, though, I'm going to assume that's just a fluke. He was never a great prospect and was bad last year for the Astros. (It must have been a confusing year for Astros fans in 2005, having to watch Rodriguez, Brandon Backe and Ezequiel Astacio after three days of the spectacular Roger Clemens, Roy Oswalt and Andy Pettitte.) Anyway, Rodriguez has problems with his command. When he keeps his pitches down, he's fine, but when he starts to allow a lot of flyballs, he gets into trouble.
