Here are Beyond the Box Score's in-season defensive ratings for outfielders. They suggest that the Pirates have possibly the worst defensive outfield in baseball - Jason Bay and Nate McLouth have been mediocre by this metric, and Jeromy Burnitz and Jose Bautista have all been downright awful. Based on what I've seen of Burnitz and Bautista, that doesn't surprise me, frankly.
