Three of last year's coaches have found other jobs, the Associated Press reports. Third base coach Jeff Cox will be the White Sox' new third base coach. Rusty Kuntz, who coached in Pittsburgh and Indianapolis last year, will by the first base coach for the Royals. And bullpen coach Bobby Cuellar will manage the Twins' Class AA affiliate in New Britain, Connecticut.
None of these guys had been fired, but their contracts expire at the end of the month, and with Jim Tracy gone, it's likely that they wouldn't have been brought back anyway. It's a shame to lose Cox in particular, though.
