ESPN reports that the O's have signed Steve Trachsel to a one-year, $3.1 million deal to replace the injured Kris Benson in their rotation. Trachsel's pretty likely to be horrible - last year his K/BB ratio went all the way down to one, and he's moving to a tougher park - but the options right now are limited. I bet the Orioles wish they hadn't traded Rodrigo Lopez for a couple of minor league relievers.
