-P- The Nationals have signed Dmitri Young and Tony Batista to minor-league deals, which is unfortunate for both players. Young played all of three games in the field last year; I don't know how he can contribute to an NL team except in the most limited of roles. And the Nats already have a potential All-Star at third in Ryan Zimmerman.
