Jack Wilson Trying to Improve Plate Discipline

This seems to be an annual thing. We've definitely heard this before. We heard it in the 2003-2004 offseason, when Wilson took the Pirates to arbitration and the Pirates argued that he should receive the salary they offered because his plate discipline was poor. And we heard it last year. And yet, the Pirates just can't get it through their heads that Wilson is a bad #2 hitter not because he hasn't received the right instruction or hasn't done enough work to improve his weaknesses, but because he just can't draw walks and never will, no matter how many articles are written about him.
