Bucs Leading Rays 3-1

In the seventh. Andrew McCutchen and Humberto Cota are both 2-for-2; Shane Youman, John Wasdin, Salomon Torres and Jesse Chavez have combined to strike out six batters through seven innings.

By the way, I have to give the Rays props for this. Recently, blogger Manny Stiles auctioned off his services, promising he'd write about the highest bidder's team of choice for a year. The proceeds would be used for AIDS research. The Rays' president entered the auction and won, buying himself a year's worth of attention from a good baseball writer and what will presumably be some very good PR, for the extremely low price of $535. Nice work, Rays.

UPDATE: Bucs win, 5-2. Brad Eldred got into the game and went 1-for-1 with a walk.
