-P- The A's, who recently acquired Chris Denorfia from the Reds to improve their outfield depth, traded a player to be named or cash to the Braves today for another outfielder, Ryan Langerhans. The price to the A's won't be high, but Langerhans is a fourth outfielder at best. The A's had to go this direction because of injuries to Milton Bradley and Mark Kotsay.
-P- Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki turned an unassisted triple play against the Braves today.
-P- Kevin Goldstein makes an early guess (subscription required) about how the first five picks of the June draft will go. Goldstein speculates that the Pirates won't "get the hitter they want," high schooler Josh Vitters, and will instead settle for - wait for it - a college pitcher.
