The Bucs pulled Tony Armas after three innings today even though he had only allowed two runs; he'd thrown 77 pitches and had a very rocky first inning. They let B.P. Chacon stay out there for five innings and 70 pitches after that, so it's very likely that Chacon will take Armas' next turn in the rotation. It may seem weird that the penalty for allowing two runs is being pulled and removed from the rotation, but Armas only really pitched well in one of those three innings (the second). It was a preemptive measure.
