Pittsburgh vs. St. Louis, 22 May 2007

Zach Duke (1-4, 5.19) vs. Adam Wainwright (3-3, 6.34). Amazingly, Duke has struck out one or fewer batters in five of his nine starts. Wainwright has actually been worse than Duke overall and he was a complete disaster in his last start against the Dodgers.

As those players go, so go their teams: the Pirates have been bad, but not as bad as the Cards. Their rotation has been terrible, which some saw coming, but their offense has been bad as well - seriously, an .827 OPS from Albert Pujols? .617 from Scott Rolen? .577 from Jim Edmonds? These aren't the Cardinals of old.

Here's the box. With a groundball pitcher on the hill, X starts in center for the Bucs.
