Because I have a few minutes:
-P- The Dodgers have signed David Wells, who'd been DFAed by their division rivals the Padres. The Dodgers have had lots of injuries to their starting pitching, but at this point, Wells probably isn't any better than Brett Tomko, who he'll replace in the rotation, or Mark Hendrickson. Still, it can't hurt them to have more options.
-P- The Cubs took Craig Monroe off our hands. Thanks, Chicago!
