Paul Maholm will miss his scheduled start Monday because of a stiff back, Rotoworld reports. Ian Snell will pitch Monday; hopefully, Zach Duke will be ready to pitch one of the last two games of the series.
As for Maholm, I know very little about what's going on, but this doesn't sound serious. Then again, with the Pirates, one never knows.
By the way, Adam LaRoche was removed from today's game with a bruised knee. He's day-to-day.
UPDATE: Duke probably won't pitch in this series.
