Brian Graham Makes First Transaction as Interim GM

The Bucs have traded minor league starter Victor Zambrano to the Orioles for cash. Zambrano, 32, had a 2.70 ERA with 25 strikeouts and 9 walks in five starts for Indianapolis. This was by far the best stop of the five he's had so far this year (he also pitched at four different levels of the Jays system), so this is kind of like getting a dollar for a broken fan at a garage sale. It's hardly worth mentioning, but you're a buck richer, and what the hell were you going to do with a broken fan?
