With the hiring of Marc DelPiano as a special assistant to Neal Huntington. DelPiano was a scout for the Expos from 1996-2000; before that, he scouted and coached for the Rangers. He was the Marlins' farm director in 2003 and 2004, and then their Director of International Scouting the following year. He served as a special assignment scout for the Red Sox from 2006-2008.
DelPiano clearly looks qualified for the job for which he's been hired, but the number of people Huntington has hired from his days with the Expos is pretty amazing.
