Blue Jays Hire Roy Smith

The Blue Jays have hired Roy Smith as a scout. Smith was an assistant general manager for the Bucs for many years, and he served as interim GM between the tenures of Cam Bonifay and Dave Littlefield. If that's not a qualification for a good job in baseball, or at least for admission to the country's best asylums, I don't know what is. (No safety asylums for this guy.) Anyway, Smith was until recently a special assistant to Neal Huntington this year.
