UPDATE: The Nady projections are now closed.
How will X perform in 2008? He set career highs in a number of statistical categories in 2007, but many fans still thought he underperformed. It'll be interesting to see if those folks turn out and post here. Whether they do or not, I predict a large disparity between our projections and ZiPS'. (And don't go look before you guess!)
You know the drill - leave a comment with your guess for Nady's 2008 average, on-base percentage, and slugging percentage.
Jason Bay is still open. Jose Bautista is closed. Here are the results.
NAME | POS. | COMMUNITY | ZiPS |
Adam LaRoche | 1B | .280/.351/.509 | .272/.348/.492 |
Freddy Sanchez | 2B | .313/.355/.454 | .298/.340/.415 |
Jack Wilson | SS | .272/.324/.392 | .261/.313/.361 |
Jose Bautista | 3B | .261/.342/.433 | .249/.329/.415 |
Bautista is acceptable if he matches our projection, but if he hits like ZiPS thinks he will, he increases the likelihood that Neil Walker will be the Bucs' third baseman in 2009.
