The competition for the last infield bench job would thus appear to favor Josh Wilson, who's still on the roster, although the article also mentions that Luis Rivas will receive consideration. Rivas hasn't played much shortstop in his career - for several years, he was the Twins' starting second baseman - and he can't hit at all, so we would seem to be a bad fit. I'd rather have Olmedo than Rivas or Wilson, but it doesn't matter much.
