If Will Ohman's asking price is indeed only around $2 million, I don't understand why the Pirates don't just agree to pay it. He's not an elite reliever, but he's always had good strikeout rates, and he'd instantly strengthen a very weak bullpen and relieve some of the sting if the Pirates were to trade John Grabow. Also, by signing Ohman, the Pirates could improve the market for Grabow, since both are veteran lefty relievers. $2 million seems like the right price to me.
