Molina signing with the Mets was thought to be a done deal . But today he signed with the Giants . This made me think what if the Mets start to panic for a catcher what makes you think that they might come calling the Pirates about Doumit? If their banking on having a championship caliber team would they end up over paying for Doumit if it starts getting close to spring training? If they do trade Doumit and if the Mets really want a catcher what would they get for him?
