I know this has been discussed some on this site, but I do not think it has been discussed yet this offseason. With so few great/good free agents available, and with the Bucs missing out of the JDLR sweepstakes, would now be the optimal time to lock up Cutch through 2016 or 2017? They have some money to spend, and the Bucs need a "win" this offseason. Expectations are higher this offseason than they have been in previous years for the Bucs to make a splash in free agency. If they can't do that, I like signing Cutch to a long-term deal. He is already a 3-4 WAR player, and still has a lot of potential to grow into a fringe MVP caliber player. Thoughts?
