Dejan Kovacevic tweets that the Pirates still want to trade for Kenshin Kawakami of the Braves. That's weird, because with Kevin Correia, Scott Olsen, Charlie Morton and Brad Lincoln already in the fold, you'd think the Pirates would feel like they're up to their eyeballs in back-of-the-rotation options. It sounds like they're really, really hedging their bets (which I endorse, but then I'm not the guy who spends all the money it takes to do all that hedging). Another possibility, which Pat hints at today, is that they're considering trading one of their established starters, most likely Paul Maholm. Take that with a grain of salt for now, though.
