Bucs Sign 31st-Round Pick Jason Townsend

The Pirates have signed 31st-round pick Jason Townsend, a pitcher from the University of Alabama. WTM figured he wasn't much of a prospect, and the $25,000 bonus he received would tend to suggest he's right about that. In any case, he'll join the State College Spikes.
