Pat has a note today on how, for all the bellyaching about some of the Pirates' other trades, some of which weren't even that bad (Nate McLouth, Freddy Sanchez) or in fact were actively good (Jack Wilson), people actually don't complain about the Gorzelanny deal enough. With the caveat that Josh Harrison could be a nice spare infielder someday, the Gorzelanny trade was a disaster - Jose Ascanio and Kevin Hart got hurt almost immediately, and Gorzelanny has gotten his career back on track like 2008 and 2009 never happened.
