Pirates Vs. Cubs, Opening Day: Overflow Thread No. 1

Keep it going here as Kevin Correia pitches to the Cubs in the bottom of the third. I'll move my updates on the game to this thread. Here's the original gamethread, for those who missed it.

UPDATE 3:15 PM: Well, that could have been a lot worse. The Cubs loaded the bases with one out, but Correia induced a grounder and got a nice play from Neil Walker to pick up an out, then got another grounder to stop the threat with the Cubs only getting one run. There was also a nice block from Ryan Doumit in there too - if this had been last year, I feel like the Cubs would have tacked on a couple more runs for sure, but Doumit has had a really nice game so far today.

UPDATE 3:44 PM: Now that was awesome. I was about to say we'd seen a lot of good things - the Doumit caught stealing and block, a walk by Ronny Cedeno in a key situation, an awesome bunt by Kevin Correia, a hard double down the line by Lyle Overbay - without actually getting much for them. But Neil Walker just erased all that by smacking a grand slam to right off a struggling Ryan Dempster. The Pirates lead, 4-2. Great stuff.
