Mariners GM Jack Zduriencik is asking why Anthony Rendon doesn't release his medical history. (The Mariners pick second in the draft, right after the Pirates.)
"If a player has a chance to go very high, it makes sense, if they feel very good about their medical history, why not release it? Disclose it. It could benefit the player. If you don't get (the medical history), for whatever reason, you might have to ask why."
Rendon has been playing second base for Rice in order to prove his shoulder is healthy, although he was back at DH in Rice's game against Houston Saturday.
