Indians 5, Pirates 1: Cleveland Rocks Danny Moskos As Pirates' Offense Vanishes

Kevin Correia only allowed four hits through 5.2 innings tonight, but he allowed three walks, let a run come home with a balk, and gave up a solo jack to Carlos Santana. Meanwhile, the Pirates couldn't get anything going against Mike Randy Josh Tomlin, whose stuff makes Jeff Karstens look like Nolan Ryan.

Yeah. The Bucs got one run in the sixth when Ronny Cedeno doubled and then Xavier Paul singled him home. That cut the score to 2-1. And then Danny Moskos came on and couldn't get anybody out. He nearly gave up a three-run homer to Travis Hafner, which isn't that easy to do anymore if you're a lefty.

(By the way, despite the graphic I put in the gamethread, the attendance was just fine, at 38,549, with what appeared to be a bunch of Pirates fans in attendance.)

Still one game above .500!
