Cardinals Beat Pirates After Blown Call, Poor Bunt Decision

I wasn't able to watch this one, and the highlights I can find online aren't really helping me with some of the key plays, so I'll try to keep it straightforward. Derrek Lee homered in the third. Jeff Karstens didn't pitch very well, but Danny Moskos bailed him out by getting Lance Berkman to ground into a double play in the fifth.

Lee came up with two on and one out in the fifth and flied out. Pedro Ciriaco came home from third on the play and was called out for leaving early, even though replays apparently revealed that he didn't leave early at all. That cost the Bucs a big inning, and Clint Hurdle was thrown out for arguing a half-inning later, probably after seeing a replay.

Then Andrew McCutchen tied the game with a two-run blast to right-center in the seventh. But the Cardinals scored two off Joel Hanrahan in the ninth on an RBI double to the gap by Nick Punto and a sacrifice fly by Albert Pujols

Josh Harrison and Pedro Alvarez singled to lead off the bottom of the inning. Then Ciriaco came up, and, in a play Hurdle may have been cheering on from the clubhouse, bunted with two strikes and Pujols coming in, which got Harrison gunned down at third. Neil Walker then grounded into a double play to end the game. Which all means that this sounds like a pretty annoying game all-around.
