Gustavo Nunez claimed off waivers

I didn't know Gustavo Nunez was even ON waivers, but apparently he was and the Diamondbacks have claimed him. He spent all of 2012 trying to recover from an ankle injury that eventually required surgery. Arizona will now have to keep him in the majors all of next year.

I didn't see the point of selecting Nunez in the first place, so I'm not exactly broken up about this. No word yet on whether he aggravated the ankle jumping into sand pits.
