Jameson Taillon drops out of AFL due to groin injury

Christian Petersen

Jameson Taillon has been replaced by Phil Irwin in the Arizona Fall League after Taillon suffered what appears to be a minor groin injury. Taillon's departure seems to be precautionary, and there's no real reason to think this will be a problem next year. Taillon pitched about 150 innings between Double-A, Triple-A and the AFL this year, so he really didn't need the work much anyway.
