USA TODAY Sports

Here's the lineup for the Pirates' spring training home opener against the Braves on Sunday at 1:05 at newly-renovated McKechnie Field.

Starling Marte LF
Russell Martin C
Andrew McCutchen CF
Pedro Alvarez 3B
Neil Walker 2B
Gaby Sanchez 1B
Brandon Inge DH
Jose Tabata RF
Clint Barmes SS

James McDonald P

Not that I worry about lineups much, but this is an interesting one. We'll see if the Pirates keep using Martin, whose last two season OBPs are .311 and .324, at the top of the order.

-P- Martin has dropped out of the World Baseball Classic. He had been slated to play for Canada.

-P- The game today will be on KDKA.

-P- Danny Knobler writes about Gerrit Cole and the Pirates' other prospects, reporting that the Pirates could have gotten Chase Headley at the trade deadline last year without trading Cole or Jameson Taillon.
