Pirates scratch James McDonald, place him on disabled list

The Pirates announced that they have scratched James McDonald from his start tonight and have placed him on the disabled list with shoulder discomfort. That should come as no surprise to anyone who's seen him pitch this year. Jeanmar Gomez will start. Also, Russell Martin has been scratched with a stiff neck. The Pirates have promoted Josh Harrison, who will take McDonald's spot on the 25-man roster.
