Two announcements from the Pirates regarding James McDonald's status this afternoon.
First (4:14 p.m.):
James McDonald has been returned from injury rehabilitation but will remain on the disabled list as he has experienced continued issues with his right shoulder.
McDonald is scheduled to see Dr. Andrews next week.
We will have additional information after his visit with Dr. Andrews next week.
Second update (4:32 p.m.):
The Pirates were contacted by the James Andrews group and due to a scheduling conflict on their end, James McDonald WILL NOT be seeing Dr. Andrews next week.
The Pirates said that they will provide more information as it becomes available. I will add any and all updates to this post as I get them.
