Pirates place Michael McKenry on DL, promote Alex Presley

The Pirates have placed Michael McKenry on the DL with a knee injury and promoted Alex Presley, according to our own David Manel, so it appears Tony Sanchez will be the Pirates' backup catcher for awhile longer. Presley effectively takes Travis Snider's spot on the roster, since Sanchez was promoted yesterday when Snider went on the DL. Presley hasn't had a great season for Indianapolis, hitting .277/.360/.408, but there's no reason to expect him to be worse than Snider was. So it looks like the Pirates have made a pair of modest upgrades here.
