Sunday's games:
-- Indianapolis squeaked by Toledo, 6-5. Brandon Cumpton gave up four runs in five innings. Vic Black picked up a five-out save, giving up two walks and a hit in the process. He struck out one. Ivan De Jesus, Jr., and Matt Hague each had a single and a double. Andrew Lambo went 1-3 with a walk and two RBIs.
-- Altoona managed three runs off top Nats' prospect A.J. Cole, but lost to Harrisburg, 5-3. Justin Howard went 2-4 with his sixth HR. He's now batting .336 and starting to hit for some power. Gregory Polanco went 1-3 with a walk and Alen Hanson 0-3 with a walk. Alex Dickerson returned to the lineup and went 1-4.
-- Zack Dodson (pictured), back at Bradenton after one not-so-successful start in AA, threw seven no-hit innings as the Marauders beat Charlotte, 5-3. Dodson walked three and struck out five. Tyler Waldron lost the no-hitter in the 9th, as he failed to retire any of the five batters he faced. Robbie Kilcrease followed, coming on with runners at first and second. He threw a wild pitch, but then got a game-ending triple play when Willy Garcia made a diving catch on a fly to shallow right. Garcia doubled the runner off second and the runner on third was ruled to have left the base too soon after trying to tag up and score. At the plate, Gift Ngoepe went 3-4 and Jose Osuna 2-3 with a double and a walk. Stetson Allie went 0-4 with a walk and two strikeouts.
-- West Virginia lost to Lakewood, 3-1. Starter Kyle Haynes gave up two runs on five hits and a walk in six and two-thirds innings. He fanned three. The Power had only three hits. Josh Bell drove in the run with a single in three ABs. Dilson Herrera went 0-3.
-- Jamestown lost to Tri-City, 11-5. Starter Dovydas Neverauskas gave up six runs in one-plus innings. Shane Carle followed, allowing two runs in six innings, although he also let two of Neverauskas' runners score. Danny Collins went 2-3 with his seventh HR and Michael Fransoso hit his second HR. Jin-De Jhang went 2-4.
