Roster move: The Pirates recalled Jared Hughes from his rehab assignment with Triple-A Indianapolis and reinstated him from the 15 day DL. To make room on the 25 man roster, the Bucs optioned Vic Black to Indianapolis. Hughes was placed on the disabled list June 8, with right shoulder inflammation. Before the injury, the right-handed reliever pitched 16.1 innings with a 4.96 ERA.
