Altoona was rained out on Friday.
-- Indianapolis rallied for six runs in the 9th to beat Rochester, 7-6. The Indians couldn't do much for eight innings against recently demoted Scott Diamond, but they lit up the Red Wings' bullpen, with half the damage coming against former Pirate farmhand Shairon Martis. The big blow was a game-tying grand slam by Lucas May, his third HR. Travis Snider, who went 0-4, put Indy ahead with a sacrifice fly. Alex Presley had three hits, Matt Hague two. Brandon Cumpton struggled, throwing 92 pitches and lasting only three and a third innings. He gave up eight hits, although he somehow gave up only two runs, one earned. Ryan Reid also struggled, giving up seven hits and four runs in two and one third. Vic Black threw the last two innings for the win. He gave up no runs on two hits and a walk, and fanned two. Jeff Clement homered for Rochester.
-- Bradenton lost to Palm Beach, 2-1, in twelve innings. Jacob Stallings went 2-5 with a double and his sixth HR, and Benji Gonzalez also had two hits. Stetson Allie was 1-5 with a double and no strikeouts. Starter Zack Dodson gave up one run in six innings.
-- West Virginia rode a strong start from Luis Heredia to a 4-2 win over Savannah. Heredia threw five scoreless innings, allowing three hits and two walks, and striking out six. Jhondaniel Medina struck out three over the last two innings to pick up the save. Max Moroff hit his eighth HR, and Jonathan Schwind and Francisco Diaz each went 2-4. Josh Bell went 0-4 and Dilson Herrera 1-4.
-- Jamestown rallied for two in the 9th but lost to Williamsport, 5-4. Dovydas Neverauskas gave up all five runs in the 3rd inning. Elvis Escobar and Danny Collins each had two hits, and Adam Frazier went 2-2 with two walks.
-- The GCL Pirates beat the Yankees1, 7-3. Reese McGuire (pictured) went 4-5 and Enyel Vallejo had three doubles in five ABs. Daniel Arribas and Nick Buckner each went 2-4, with Buckner adding a double, and Austin Meadows 1-4. Vallejo has 14 hits in his last 32 ABs (.438) with seven extra base hits. Buckner has seven hits in his last twelve ABs. Jon Sandfort gave up three runs on six hits in three and two-thirds innings.

-- The DSL Pirates2 lost to the Orioles, 4-3, in eleven innings. Michael De La Cruz went 0-6. Hector Garcia struck out ten in six innings. He was charged with three runs, all unearned.
