Matt Hague gets three XBHs, Jimmy Rider gets four hits

All the non-rookie level affiliates saw action on Sunday.

-- Vic Black blew a two-run lead in the 9th, but Indianapolis scored four in the top of the 10th and held on for an 8-5 win over Rochester.  Starter Kris Johnson gave up two runs, one earned, in five innings on five hits and three walks.  He fanned four.  Black, who hasn't pitched all that well since going back to AAA, gave up the two runs on two hits and two walks in his one inning.  He fanned one.  Matt Hague went 3-5 with two doubles, his eighth HR and three RBIs.  Chase d'Arnaud, Russ Canzler and Jared Goedert each went 2-5.

-- Altoona managed just four singles in a 3-0 loss to Richmond.  Gregory Polanco and Alen Hanson each went 1-4.

-- Bradenton blew a 1-0 lead in the 9th, but still beat Palm Beach, 2-1, in eleven innings.  Stetson Allie went 2-4 with a double and an 11th inning RBI single.  Starter Pat Ludwig threw six scoreless innings.  He gave up three hits and four walks, and struck out seven.  In his last three starts, Ludwig has allowed just one run and nine hits in 20 innings, with 18 strikeouts.

-- West Virginia beat Savannah, 4-3.  Starter John Kuchno gave up five hits and five walks in six innings, but only three runs.  Thomas Harlan followed a rough outing by striking out four in two scoreless innings.  Jimmy Rider (pictured) went 4-4 with a double and his second HR.  Josh Bell went 0-4 with three strikeouts.

-- Jamestown scored all its runs with two outs in the 7th in dropping Williamsport, 4-1.  Chad Kuhl gave up the one run in five innings.  He allowed five hits, walked none and fanned three.  Elvis Escobar hit his first HR and Michael Fransoso went 2-3.
