Lots of action on Thursday:

-- Indianapolis dropped Toledo, 3-2, in eleven innings.  Andy Oliver had a standard sort of Oliver start, allowing only three hits and fanning eight in five innings, but walking four.  He allowed the two runs.  Indian pitchers fanned 18 on the night.  Ryan Reid (pictured) threw three scoreless innings in relief, allowing just a walk and fanning six.  Erik Cordier struck out two in the bottom of the 11th for the save.  Carlos Paulino went 3-5 in his AAA debut and drove in the winning run in the top of the 11th.  Chase d'Arnaud, Travis Snider and Matt Hague all had two hits.

-- Altoona beat Harrisburg, 4-1.  Zach Thornton (aka "The Guy They Got for Chris Resop") made his first ever pro start and threw five scoreless, one-hit innings.  He walked none and fanned six.  Alen Hanson went 3-4 with two triples and Gregory Polanco went 0-3 with a walk.  Mel Rojas, Jr., hit his fifth HR and Jarek Cunningham his 18th.

-- Bradenton split a pair with Fort Myers.  The Marauders won the suspended game, 5-2.  Adrian Sampson was on the mound when the game was called and returned to finish it, ending up with a rare, but somewhat tainted, nine-inning complete game.  He allowed seven hits, walked one and struck out three.  Gift Ngoepe went 3-4 with a double and three runs.  Stetson Allie went 2-3 with a walk and Dan Gamache 2-4 with a double.

Bradenton lost the regularly scheduled game, 2-1, when Orlando Castro gave up a run in the top of the 7th.  Emmanuel De Leon allowed one run in five innings on just two hits and two walks.  He struck out five.  Allie went 0-2 with a walk.

-- West Virginia lost to Asheville, 4-3.  Kyle Haynes allowed all four runs in the 2nd inning.  He ended up going six, giving up seven hits and fanning three.  Jimmy Rider went 2-3, giving him nine hits in his last 13 ABs.  Josh Bell went 0-4.

-- Jamestown played two games with State College.  The Jammers lost the continuation of the suspended game, 9-8, when they blew a four-run lead in the bottom of the 9th.  Harold Ramirez went 4-5 with his fifth HR.  Adam Landecker went 3-4 with a double.  Elvis Escobar, Candon Myles and Michael Fransoso each had two hits.  Cody Dickson was the original starter.  He allowed three runs, two earned, in five innings on six hits and four walks, while fanning six.

In the regularly scheduled game, the Jammers were down, 8-1, after four innings.  Jackson Lodge had given up all eight runs, five of them earned.  The box score should be available here.

-- The GCL Pirates won their next-to-last regular season game, beating the Phillies, 1-0.  Ulises Montilla went 2-4 and drove in the only run.  Austin Meadows went 0-3 with a walk and Reese McGuire 1-4.  Starter Miguel Rosario threw four shutout innings, allowing one hit and one walk, and striking out two.
