Thursday's action:
-- Indianapolis beat Toledo, 2-1, in ten innings when Darren Ford doubled with two out and Robert Andino followed with a walk-off single. Graham Godfrey threw six shutout innings, and Russ Canzler put Indy up with his 12th HR and first for the Indians. Vic Black, however, blew the 1-0 lead in the 9th. He ended up with the win, going two innings and allowing a hit and two walks, while striking out two.
-- Altoona lost to Binghamton, 1-0. David Bromberg took the loss despite allowing just three hits and striking out seven over seven innings. Alen Hanson went 1-3 and Gregory Polanco 1-4 with a double. Adalberto Santos went 2-3.
-- Bradenton spotted St. Lucie three runs in the 1st, but came back for a 5-3 win. Adrian Sampson gave up the three runs in five innings. He allowed five hits and two walks, and fanned five. Elias Diaz went 3-4, and Benji Gonzalez and Gift Ngoepe each 2-4. Stetson Allie went 0-4 with a walk and three strikeouts.
-- Luis Heredia (pictured) threw five scoreless innings as West Virginia shut out Lakewood, 7-0. Heredia gave up two hits and two walks, and struck out four. Walker Gourley went 2-4 and Josh Bell, Dilson Herrera, Max Moroff and Luis Urena each 2-5.
-- Chad Kuhl, Justin Topa and Henry Hirsch combined to allow just two hits as Jamestown shut out Vermont, 2-0. Kuhl went five, allowing one hit, walking none and striking out three. The Jammers went with their equivalent of a Sunday lineup. Michael Fransoso and Jeff Roy each had two hits.
-- The GCL Pirates beat the Braves, 5-4. Starter Billy Roth gave up a run on two hits and a walk in three innings. He struck out two. Daniel Arribas went 2-3 and Nick Buckner 2-4 with a double. Austin Meadows went 1-4 with a triple and Reese McGuire 0-3 with a walk.
-- The DSL Pirates2 blew a one-run lead in the bottom of the 9th, then scored two in the 10th to beat the Rockies, 7-5. Ramses Pena went 3-5 and Rudy Guzman 2-3 with a double and a walk.
-- The DSL Pirates1 were in a scoreless tie with the Orioles2 when the game was suspended in the 5th.
