In the only Pirates-related minor league action on Tuesday, Jamestown missed a chance to clinch a playoff spot by losing to State College, 3-1. Cody Dickson started and tossed five shutout innings, allowing just one hit and one walk, and fanning five. He left with a 1-0 lead, but Jackson Lodge, who's been struggling badly of late, gave up three runs to take the loss. The Jammers had only four hits. Austin Meadows (he's the one on the right) went 2-3 and Reese McGuire went 0-3.
